James Schramko here. Now, what if you have a membership, and there are people always coming, and it’s not a specific six-week or eight-week or 10-week or 12-week course? How do you keep it interesting for people who are already in the membership, and also people who are joining?
One way to do this is to have themed content months. So you could have, just like you would have on the public-facing side of your business, a content schedule. You might have a content schedule for members. So you could have the month for traffic, a month for conversions, a month for branding, a month for team building, and so forth.
You could actually rotate around these content themes for years, in some cases up to three years. I know one of my friends does, and that way even someone who’s been there for a while is going to get new ideas or a new focus for the next three years. In my community, we run challenges. So often we’ll run a challenge on a specific theme, and everyone can be involved, whether they just joined or whether they’ve been there for eight or nine years.
So that’s an idea for you on how you can have a general solution that doesn’t have to be staged or step-by-step, that can still be interesting for everyone who’s involved.
