James Schramko here, and today I want to help you with getting things done with less effort. I was speaking to a client yesterday, and she’s about to run a live event, and I offered her my live event checklist.
Now, this is a checklist formed after running dozens of events. Each time I run an event, I update the checklist, and now she’s got the train tracks to roll her train down. In fact, she could give that checklist to a team member and have that team member project-manage the event and take an enormous burden off my customer, because now she doesn’t have to think of everything that needs to be thought of. She can protect herself from making mistakes; she can quickly go to the best practice. It’s like using a wheel instead of reinventing a wheel.
So the tip here today is use checklists. They can be applied for hiring, training, sales letters, sales scripts on the telephone, putting together webinars, putting together migration from one server to another, to give to your team. Use checklists. Use frameworks. I’ve been building up my checklists and frameworks over the years, and I’ve put quite a few of them inside SuperFastBusiness membership. You’re welcome to join the membership and get access to those checklists and frameworks, even the one that I use to make these videos. They’re all inside the membership.
