James Schramko here. I want to share with you some thoughts around feelings. I remember listening to a podcast and there was a brain doctor saying you would not feed a thoroughbred horse a packet of chips or a coke and that makes perfect sense. But why do we do that as humans? It just doesn’t make sense.
The more processed the food is, the less actual food is in it and the more little bits and pieces and fillers. So I believe that your food is going to have a direct relationship with how you feel. If you eat stuff that’s less processed, you’re going to feel better. I can definitely feel better when I’m eating better and it makes a huge difference to my performance, my ability to get stuff done and just in general – the way that I’m aging and the way that I feel about everyday life, my fitness, etc.
So what do you think about that? If you wouldn’t feed a thoroughbred horse a packet of chips and coke then is it good enough for you, a high-performance machine running your business? The better you are optimizing your inputs, the better your outputs can be.
I’m James Schramko. I hope you’ve enjoyed this. More tips like this in the book, Work Less Make More, available on Amazon and Audible.
