James Schramko here. Today, I want to help you stop doing some of the things that are making your life miserable. This is an exercise that I do with new customers and I ask them to write down things that annoy them. What frustrates you? What is getting under your skin? What are you doing on a daily basis that you know is driving you to dissatisfaction? It’s making you unhappy. It’s making you less of a good person.
I encourage you, stop doing it. Make a task list. Delete what you can and then transfer the rest of it to someone in your team or hire someone to do it or a service to do it. Get rid of it. So, write down your annoying list and then transfer the things off the list and you’ll find you’re a happier person. You will be a better human, your work will be more fulfilling and even if you’re not making as much money, which might happen or might not, at least you’re having a better life.
