A multi-million dollar earning checklist
So when I was selling motor vehicles I developed a checklist. I tried to figure out why I was losing sales and I crafted a checklist that almost guaranteed that I had the best chance of making a sale and I call this the “Write-Up Sheet”. I know I’ve already spoken about it before but last week I published the checklist inside FastWebFormula. I actually put the checklist – the one that I developed – that I estimate has sold well over $100M worth of vehicles, not just for me but when I train my teams and they will put in place in the dealerships. That’s including only the time up until I left. I calculated actually it’s probably closer to $400M assuming that no one used it the day after I left, but they would be crazy not to use it.
The best thing is this works in just about any business. It’s the 6 or 7 questions you need to know if you’re going to get an order, and I put that checklist inside SuperFastBusiness so check out that post and start to profit in your business. It’s really-really good for any service or consulting business.
Ezra Firestone answers E-commerce questions
Okay, if you like E-commerce you’re in for a treat. Ezra Firestone has been posting a whole lot of answers to E-commerce questions. Ezra runs millions of dollars worth of E-commerce per year, he’s just built a great course that he’s publishing for a huge product release you’ll probably hear all about it – Ezra Firestone is going to be famous for E-commerce people but he’s in there answering questions. I’ve also just done an E-commerce interview which I’ll post as well this week – look out for it. I’ll be sending you an email if you’re on the list at SuperFastBusiness.com.
Leveraging email replies
This week in FastWebFormula we also covered the topic of how to reply to emails. As you know with my emails – I actually say “Hit Reply.” But I use certain sequences, I do ones for buyers, I do ones for people leaving a subscription product, and I also do my general newsletter. So there are certain things that you can do to really maximise that reply to show people that you care, to show people that you’re real, but also solve problems and make money, and also turn that stuff into news items like this – so if someone hit reply and said “How do you get ideas for your news items?” I would say a lot of them come from the people who hit reply and ask me a question. I not only answer it for them but I answer it for all of the listeners on SuperFastBusiness.com by making a video about it. So that’s one way to leverage your reply act.
OfficeAutoPilot sequence
Okay, OfficeAutoPilot – I’m doing some real cool stuff with that. One of the things I’ve done is set up a shopping cart abandonment. What I did was replace the sales form on FastWebFormula.com and I put a get started button. When people click that, if they’ve already given me their email address at any point in the past – it remembers that and it puts them on a sequence so 60 minutes after they go to the check-out page it checks to see if they’ve ordered and if they haven’t ordered it will send them a follow-up email – it’s automatic. Email Abandon cart followups can be a really nice way to increase revenue and get back some sales that would otherwise be lost.
Also check out Google’s new remarketing features which let you segment your visitors in Google Analytics and set a tracking cookie on them. Then you can serve them targeted specific ads anywhere on the Google Display Network (Adsense).
Examples:
Target visitors who added a product to a cart but then abandoned with a banner ad for free shipping within 48 hours.
Target your customers who purchased products and remind them to purchase again after 30 days.

OAP question: since OAP uses tags for subscribers and they’re on a single list, if someone unsubscribes from one of your sequences does it remove them from your entire list?
