This is very important. When you get one virtual assistant, create systems and processes. And your immediate goal should be to work towards your second assistant.
So that from that point on, you’ve got the Noah principle. In fact, you have two people who are cross-trained. And if and when one of them eventually leaves for whatever reason, through because they start their own business or they decide to start a family, or they get sick or something terrible happens, whatever, at least the other person can hire and train and replace that person without dragging you back into the business. So you need to have that layer of protection.
So when someone says, I’m thinking about getting my first full-time person, I always say, think about your first two full-time people and try and speed up that progression as soon as possible. What you will find is there’s so much gain with one person that you’ll be encouraged enough to hire the second.
And when I went down this path, you know, within two years, I had 65 people. I pretty much ran with that concept.
