James Schramko here. Today, I want to share with you a tip on maximizing your effectiveness with the team and proposals.
If you have a service business and you’re the primary person, the chances are you’re probably writing out proposals. You might be briefing with clients or doing sales calls. And then you have to pass on stuff to the team and hopefully, they’re preparing up the proposals if you’re doing that sort of business model.
Now, here’s something that could help. Instead of recording the whole discussion and sending that to your team to digest, instead, don’t record the discussion with the client but just make some notes and at the end, summarize with the client what you’ve discussed today and what the next action steps are and record that part and share that with your team. Now, they get a 10-minute video instead of an hour-long video. And instead of calling it a proposal, call it an action plan or recommended actions, something similar.
I hope you enjoyed this. Speak soon.
