James Schramko here, and today I want to share with you the importance of travel for your business. Just over 10 years ago, I hopped on an airplane. I went to the United States and I attended a seminar. When I was at the seminar, I entered a competition. I won the competition, it got me into a high-level group. I networked with people who were far more advanced than I was, and it propelled me forward.
Within six weeks, I was able to quit my job taking on a brand new profit division and going into a market where I hadn’t been before where I got some ideas from these high-level mastermind people. The same group helped me formulate what I would sell at my first live event and I capitalized on that.
And here I am now 10 years later. Business has been good but it would not have happened if I didn’t get on that plane. So, I make it a habit to travel each year overseas and to other states in Australia where I’m able to meet other entrepreneurs. I’m able to find out good ideas and get out of my comfort zone and step away from the computer. So, I do urge you, travel and prosper.
