As you can tell I’m a bit of a geek. I have a lot of Game of Thrones references in here, “What is dead may never die.” So “[insert platform here] is dead.” Now hands up if you heard this said before, if you’ve heard someone say emails are dead. Who’s heard that? Hands up, who of you heard someone say webinars are dead? Didn’t work anymore. How about people saying Facebook ads are dead? Facebook ads are dying? No one’s using them anymore. Yeah?
The real secret here, number one secret, is that when people start screaming that something or a platform is dead, one or two things, right? They’re probably just not very good at what they were doing, and the golden period has come through. But if you’re still really good, and you still got good principles and doing it the right way, there’s still gold in those platforms.
