If you have the right content, and you put in good quality, that will do a lot of heavy lifting for you. It’s not just about spraying your volumes of content all across the internet.
Ideally, you’ll want content that resonates with your audience, which you determine by doing a poll. You’ll want it to solve a challenge that they’re having that you know about, because you know your audience. And then you want the people in your industry to share that content.
You want share-worthy content. That’s the kind of content that is going to drive a lot of traffic to your site. So if you’re falling short of that, then up the level of quality and up your analysis to know exactly what sort of content to produce.
So just in recap – do a survey, ask them who they follow. So you can find out who you need to get in front of, whose audience you need to warm up to socialize with, and the headline or the blog post is going to be critical. It has to be important enough that your typical user who you help is going to see that and think, I need to have a look at that and see what it’s all about. And then it should be very well-written. It should be interlinked from within the website. You want it shared externally. And that could be an evergreen piece of content that you could also run ads to in various formats.
