If I was starting a program, a new program in an untested field, I would generally call it a pilot program, and I would usually put it on a shorter timeframe.
The very first iteration of my group coaching program, I made a three month program. The premise of that, or the hypothesis was, Well, I’ll try it. And if I don’t like it, then I’m only committed to three months and I can switch it off. If they don’t like it, then they’ve only got three months to go through it, and then I can switch it off. Turns out, I really liked it, so I did it for another three months. And then I got sick of having to resell it and reorganize the admin of re-enrolling everyone every three months, so I just made it a forever program, which is step two. But you could go there, if you want.
You could actually say, I want to make this a recurring monthly retainer. This is the fee per month. For that I will do this or that. And it’s a month-to-month agreement, you can cancel at any time. There are no refunds. I’m open to any feedback or communication. If you’ve got any issue with the pricing of the program, I just want us to agree that you will let me know, but you’ll pay up front and you’ll get 30 days and it will be continued on an ongoing basis until you say, Stop, or until I say, Stop, I don’t want to offer this anymore. And you could start off that way and then adjust as you go.
