So when we look at a lot of the different campaigns that we get brought into, to help out with, there’s a few common mistakes and areas which we see across a lot of different accounts. And these can cause a campaign to crash.
So some of the areas are not following the numbers. That is the number one thing. People are going in subjectively using the gut feel to run ads, and then to determine if the ads are working or not. You can’t run an ad account like that or campaign like that. You’ve got to have objective numbers that you base all of your decisions on. Right? So follow the numbers.
Another error that we see is not giving campaigns enough time to get the right numbers to make the right decisions. So if you don’t have the right data set, if you don’t understand what the numbers mean, or if you don’t have enough numbers to make the right call, you’re going to make the wrong decision. Again, as I spoke about, crap in, crap out.
The third one is not letting a campaign run its proper course, or jumping in too soon and trying to mess with things. Now, if, if you’ve run an ad set before, have you ever been tempted to do this, right? Get some numbers in the first few days, you’re like, maybe I can change this. Let me just go in and change this. I’ll just change the graphics a little bit, right? Anyone done that? I’m super guilty of that. I get so impatient with stuff I just want to go in and play. But if you don’t give it the right time to get the right data set, you might actually have a really good campaign, changing it before you even hit paydirt. So give it the proper time to run.
