What you Think determines how you Act, which results in what you Get. That was the premise, the tagline and the introduction of the podcast Think Act Get.
In the show, James Schramko, with co-host, friend and fellow entrepreneur Ezra Firestone, partnered each week to tackle a different one-word subject. Every discussion was an invitation for the audience to think differently from how they normally would about the topic, enabling them to act faster and get better results in their business and their life.
From the show’s first airing on January 22, 2013 till its final episode on December 31, 2019, James and Ezra covered 75 topics in all, ranging from practical commentary on things like willpower, timing and communication to engaging exploratory discussions on matters like truth, power, money and ethics.
One of the most popular episodes was number 27, addressing the topic of sex. With Ezra’s mom as forthcoming guest, they managed to craft a candid yet thoughtful discussion around what could otherwise have been an awkward and squeamish subject.
Throughout its run of almost six years, the podcast was characterized by an easygoing flow, thought-provoking observations, a liberal dose of humor, and good-natured banter between the two hosts. This won them a multitude of listeners, who looked forward each week to the magic half hour or more when James and Ezra served up another helping of opinion, laughter and inspiration.
Think Act Get wrapped up ostensibly for good on October 25, 2017, bending its one-word title rule with an episode called The End. Fans voiced their appreciation in the comments for the many hours of listening and thinking pleasure.
Two years later, however, in December, James and Ezra made a surprise reunion in the episode titled Space. This put the final lid on the series. All the episodes, however, are still accessible below.
