James Schramko here with a handy tool tip today, something that might be really useful for you in your business.
Recent Evernote Features
So I’m a big fan of Evernote. It’s like my online scrapbook, my storage cabinet. I noticed recently there’s a few extra tools that are pretty good. One is, you can actually share a URL to the public, like you can with a Dropbox link.
So now if you’ve got some notes and you want to share that with people, you can actually just share the URL. People can click onto that and have a look at it online without having to share an Evernote or for them to log in to an account. The second thing is, there’s now the presentation notes. You can punch out a few bullet points and then go around it with a highlighter which is great if you’re running webinars or if you’re doing some on-screen sharing with somebody with Skype sharing screen etc., you can go through a presentation with a nice highlighter.
So these are some few features from Evernote that have come out that are really cool. I also like the web browser thing that helps you, when you’re searching around Google, it will show you your notes that relate to that in Evernote so it just shows you in the screen. That’s a pretty cool feature.
So there you go, Evernote’s a great tool. If you haven’t already started using it, I highly recommend it. It will get you organized and I look forward to catching up with you in another tip in the future. I’m James Schramko.

Great tips James. I am using the URL clipping feature extensively when coaching over skype or in google hangouts.
I use bitly to share my notes on social media to track what people are picking up on. I have not heard about the presentation mode yet… sounds really useful James.

Hi Matt,
It is very handy on a webinar
I will use it for sure… Thanks James!
Hi @mattdippl:disqus I am super excited about presentation Mode. If you take care to format your Evernote notes from the start, you won’t have to waste time converting notes to Keynote or Powerpoint.
Hey james your back using wistia, why the change again this time, instead of lead pages?

massively cool!
I have not used this before. If you say it is good, then I believe that it is. I will try using it to see how great this tool is. I will ask for your help if it is necessary. Is it ok?

Hey James,

I’ve been using OneNote, but might look at Evernote as these features are useful. :)
