James Schramko here and I want to talk about decision making today.
One thing that I think holds business owners back is when they’re waiting for all of the information to come and they simply spend too much time processing and thinking about stuff. I’ve seen people lose great candidates because they’re still thinking about stuff. I’ve seen people miss out on business growth and opportunity because they’re still working on the minute detail.
The fact is if you could just get most of the details and move forward fairly quickly and make a decision and get on with it then that is often the best thing. It’s like if you’re in a department store and you see a nice shirt that you think looks quite good and they happen to have your size and you try it on and it fits, just buy it and move on rather than go home and think about it and ponder it and see if it’s there next week and often it’ll be out of stock or it’ll be gone.
So, I’ve found that making reasonably fast decisions with most of the information will actually get you a better result. I hope you’ve enjoyed this. I’ll catch up with you soon.
