James Schramko here with a business news update.
In this episode will be talking about getting better results in your business, getting more JV referrals, how to increase your success rate and to get faster results with just about any new project that you take on. Let’s do this.
Find out what gaps you can fill
Here’s a simple way to get more business. Audit your existing customers, find out what gaps they have and then offer them the solution. Approach them perhaps with a personal video like this, ask them if they’d like you to help out and they should say yes. The easiest way to get success is as soon as you have a win write down what you did well, make that your habit and then do more of it. Too often we have a success and we don’t monetize it enough, we don’t capitalize of it. So be aware of when you have a success. Document it and repeat.
This is how you get more joint venture referrals
Find anyone who you’ve done a good venture with and ask them to contribute to something that you have. Maybe they appear on your podcast, maybe they will give you a written piece of content to put out to your newsletter. Then tell them about it and let them promote it to their audience because they will be happy to promote this content. They want people to find out about what they’ve done and their audience will really resonate because they already like them. That’s an easy way for you to enter into someone else’s community – by involving with them with a piece of content and then having them promote it to their own customers.
Use Google to find information fast
Ok, this is how you get fast results, you could use Google other than just trying to get a good search result, you can actually type questions into it it’s amazing what does come up because they’re always looking to having good quality results. The easiest thing by far is just to go directly to the front door.
Take the most direct path
When I was traveling in Europe, one of my children locked his key inside the room, he just walked over to the maid and said, “could you please open this door so I can get my key out”. She let him in, he got the result. He didn’t have to get to the elevator and go to the reception or explain what happened. He just went straight to the person right there who had the answer. Take the most direct path and it usually gets you the result.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these tips. I’ll catch up with you next week.

As always great advice. Documenting success is a great idea! Got a few things to do and I am going to take the direct path rather than over-think about my options.
