James Schramko here, and I’m near the Grand Palace in Bangkok. And one of the things that strikes me when I’m away is the great way that you can actually improve your business. I’m going to share that tip with you right now.
A Good Time To Assess
So, when I’m away from my business a little bit, when I’m travelling, I notice that it’s the best time to see what cracks you have in the business. What does your team do when you’re not there? What data do you really need versus all the stuff you could get? What questions do people ask you that can’t be solved when you’re not there? What I do is I make notes of it. And then when I get back to my business, I start about improving those things that have been exposed.
What A Previous Trip Taught Me
When I travelled to Europe, the biggest lesson was that my affiliate program was not being monitored well enough. So I cancelled that program as a result. When I was away in Europe, I also came up with a 30-minute-per-day routine of just getting the most important statistics, which I’ve continued to do to this day. That allows me more freedom and flexibility in the business.
The Action Plan
So on your action list, it’s when you have your next holiday from your business, find out what goes wrong. What do people ask when you’re not there? What mistakes can you correct and improve? And make training videos and FAQs and document your website so that you can leverage the outcomes from that and improve your business from now on.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tip. I’m James Schramko, talk to you again soon.
