James here and I’m just down at the shops and I ordered a coffee and when I finished, the lady said, “Will that be under the name James?” And I remember not telling her my name and it was written on the cup when I got it.
And I figured she probably lifted it from my credit card when I paid for the meal. So, that’s just a simple thing that she did that made the experience feel more customized and it was clever. So, if you have a shop or you’re handling customers’ details, don’t ask them something if the details are already in front of you because that just shows people you don’t care.
