James Schramko here, and if there is one piece of real estate that I really cherish in my business, it’s this – I send out an email most weeks because I do new podcasts, and in that email is a P.S. And the P.S. is a call to action.
It does not have to be related to what’s in the email. It could be a way that you could gently make an offer. Often, I’m putting my book or my audible for the book Work Less Make More. And no matter what the email is about that P.S. is very, very useful real estate. Below the P.S., you can still put a signature file.
You can put a bunch of links if you want, but make sure you’re using your P.S. And the P.S. is especially good for reinforcing whatever was in the email itself because most people skip down. They do the subject line, they’re having a little scan of the email, but the P.S. almost always stands out, and you will definitely get a lot of clicks.
