James: James Schramko here, SuperFastBusiness.com, chatting with my friend Lloyd Thompson from VirtualDOO.com. Hello, Lloyd.
Lloyd: Hi James. Thanks for having me.
James: Lloyd, my pleasure. I know you’re over there doing a fractional integrator service. And as part of that, going in there helping visionaries achieve their dreams, you’ve got your own team. And I think that’s very master of you. Like you’ve got your own people and processes and systems to deal with your clients. And I imagine you’re pretty good at it. And I know you’re drawing from different talent pools, from developers through to assistants, and so forth. How does a customer get to deal with your team? Is it that they just have a service fee for VirtualDOO? Or do they sort of get granular, do they get like, hours? Or do they deal directly with your team? Or is it all just a sort of a simple walk-in-walk-out service?
Lloyd: It’s just a simple service fee, a monthly retainer. And for that you’re getting some of my time, we’re getting some integrator time, we might involve one of our project coordinators and our support staff in the background. So it’s a number of people involved.
James: Gotcha. So you’re just there with all the sort of dials and buttons, dialing the mix and getting the proportions right to solve the customer’s problem. Because I know in your case, a lot of your clients have slightly different needs. Like they’re particularly strong in some areas, or particularly, let’s say needing help in others. And you just dial and mix and manage all of that. That means you’re hiring, training, and billing and all the rest of it, for your own team. And you’re just having a customer just pays one simple fee to get all their dreams come true, right? So I appreciate what you’re doing. What you do really helps a lot of my clients. So that’s why I wanted to get you on and talk about this and share with others.
In summary, a client will pay one amount per month, on a month-to-month basis, to get their stuff integrated.
Lloyd: That’s absolutely correct. And then we’ll do what it takes to keep your business running smoothly.
James: I love it. There you go. That’s Lloyd at VirtualDOO.com. That’s VirtualDOO.com. Check out their website. It’s got a contact form, and a little outline of what they do. I’m a huge fan. Thanks, Lloyd.
Lloyd: Thanks, James.
