Cool Stuff I did to Get Some Links To Product Launch Formula

Ok, the really tricky thing I do is look at what is on the first few pages of Google and where possible join same sites to make similar content. If squidoo is ranking then I make a lens. If Digg is ranking I Digg etc...

If the top sites are open blogs (not private ones) then I make comments where possible. If Google thinks these sites are the best then links from them to my site will help mine too.

I also did something ultra effective but I am saving this for the people who take me up on my bonus! - sorry. This one is a major advantage and I don;t want everyone doing it. I noticed results form this within 3 hours on the search engine (Google alerts send me a note about it).

Next step is to add more content to some of my established sites and strengthen them. I call this going deep. Next I will go wider with more web property for links.

coolest product launch update

I made a blogger blog about product launch formula 2.0 bonus.

Then I went over to my squidoo lens about product launch formula and added the RSS feed to the lens. I also added RSS of the squidoo lens to the blogger blog as well as the RSS feed from my main blog at the product launch formula review site blog.

Then I went over to pingoat and made sure I 'Pinged' all three sites to ensure the changes are picked up.

I also went to my James Schramko twitter site and made a link back to this blog to help people pick up on the changes.

Next I do more web 2.0 social stuff and I add long tail pages and deep links to the sites. Stay tuned....

Coolest Squidoo Lens - (post 162)

I posted a Squidoo Lens for Coolest Guy On The Planet.

Imagine having a content targeted blog which has related search fields and links from a similar content community. That is what My Squidoo about Coolest Guy On The Planet should do.

Here comes the Squidoo - (post 150)

Have you noticed a new entrant jumping up the coolest guy on the planet rankings?

It is a squidoo listing (not mine).

When a new product is released I have observed time after time how powerful squidoo lenses can be because they tend to dominate search listings. This is most obvious for new products where no prior listings existed.

I made a squidoo lens recently however I yet to add content and build it up.

Squidoo is a good thing to do if you are looking for traffic because it is a real web 2.0 social site.

Will the coolest guy on the planet squidoo make it to the top, and if so will it stay there?

p.s - Keep an eye on my Blogcatalog listing because it is starting to rise.
