Coolest guy on the planet - SEO experiment. Can I rank 1st in Google, Yahoo & MSN for the search term - coolest guy on the planet?
Oops! - I pushed it a little too far today.
My bonus site has vanished from G but I know how to make it come back (I think).
I would say the reason it went is because I had too much keyword action in the first part (The title, the H1 and the Page Description and the first sentence).
The site is still 2nd in Yahoo but they like links and are less fussy about optimization.
So - I remove the offending changes and make sure I get more varied anchor text.
I did a bunch of linking today back to the product launch formula bonus site and it will boost it up a little when it re-appears. Readers of this blog will remember I did this several times with the coolest guy on the planet SEO competition.
So - here goes - fingers crossed we can revive the PLF 2 Bonus site.
(By the way I submitted some articles to article sites with the anchor text varied a little. To save a LOT of hard work and time I use this excellent
article submission service).Labels: coolest guy on the planet blog, de-indexed, google sandbox, product launch formula bonus, submit articles
I joined up at
www.xomba.com because I noticed hight rankings for product launch formula coming from there. I have done some quick study of the site and it allows you to post original articles - called Xombytes and you can tag other web content called - Xomblurbs.
The posts are put on the first page after posting and they are on a PR 4 site.
My example Xombyte was about
product launch formula and my example Xomblurb called
search engine optimization case study points back to this website (
coolest guy on the planet).
Xomba is easy to use and has a nice adsense earnings function.

Product launch FormulaProduct Launch Formula ReviewProduct Launch Formula BonusIn keeping with the theme of this coolest guy on the planet blog about SEO I will outline some of the strategies I have used here:
Naturally I am using some of the techniques I have discovered along the way in the coolest guy on the planet experiment. I am using some of the proof from this blog as a bonus for people who buy product launch formula from me.
One of the first things I did was procure a domain name with the product launch formula keywords in it. I am of the opinion that non-hyphenated domains work best.
My domain
www.ProductLaunchFormulaBonus.com went straight to position one because of the domain relevancy.
Next, I used a dedicated server. My server is fast loading and uncluttered. It has a good IP address and no bad activity on it.
I made a couple of sites and linked them up together.
The page title on each site reflects the keywords once. The Page description has an enticing line that will encourage click throughs once in a high search position.
I keep keyword groups to only a few per page.
The content on all sites is 100 perecent unique.
Next I made a squidoo lens and posted some content and links on it:
Product Launch Formula 2.0 Review BonusThis also has an RSS feed from my primary Internet Marketing Blog where I also posted about Product Launch Formula. I have been drip feeding articles on that blog and linking back to the other sites.
I also made an article on the new web 2.o site called Qassia:
Targeted Product LaunchesNow I am posting about it from this blog to get more links back to those sites and I will be doing more. Much more.
The next step is to make a wordpress blog and use the power of social bookmarking.
Will post again regarding this coolest
product launch formula bonus campaign!
(By the way product launch formula 2.0 rocks!)
