Don't Over Optimize - This Is Not Cool

Oops! - I pushed it a little too far today.

My bonus site has vanished from G but I know how to make it come back (I think).

I would say the reason it went is because I had too much keyword action in the first part (The title, the H1 and the Page Description and the first sentence).

The site is still 2nd in Yahoo but they like links and are less fussy about optimization.

So - I remove the offending changes and make sure I get more varied anchor text.

I did a bunch of linking today back to the product launch formula bonus site and it will boost it up a little when it re-appears. Readers of this blog will remember I did this several times with the coolest guy on the planet SEO competition.

So - here goes - fingers crossed we can revive the PLF 2 Bonus site.

(By the way I submitted some articles to article sites with the anchor text varied a little. To save a LOT of hard work and time I use this excellent article submission service).

I'm Duplicated ! - (post 142)

I found my blog in the supplemental listings in Google. Perhaps this is where my blog has been taking holidays?

According to some experts this is usually caused by,

1) Duplicate content
2) No content
3) Orphaned web pages.

I have original content, plenty of content, lots of backlinks. In the case of this coolest guy on the planet blog I think it is too similar to my index page.

I have had two pages (from the same domain) listed in the first page of Google for so long that perhaps they would rather just display one.

I am now changing the pages shown to 6 (from 999) to see if this helps get re-indexed.
