coolest guy planet is Page 1 in Top 3 - (post 131)
Soon I hope to have two pages indexed for the term coolest guy on the planet on the front of each search engine.
The rankings of my coolest guy on the planet experiment as at today are as follows:
MSN - 2nd coolest guy on the planet
Yahoo - 7th, 9th, 18th, 21st coolest guy on the planet.
Google - 5th, 11th coolest guy on the planet.
Did you notice my index page disappear for about a day this week? I am not sure why, it is back now. This has happened a few times. Was it because I optimized it too well?
The reason I jumped the blog back to 5th coolest guy on the planet must have something to do with the keyword density distribution of the posts on display.
More keyword density at the top seems to be rewarded.
I have still not submitted one article for backlinking! - so there is no other influence I can see.
I did change my meta tags to match very closely the search term.
Specifically I used these keywords:
coolest guy on the planet, coolest guy planet, coolest, guy, planet, 2nd coolest guy on the planet, 3rd coolest guy on the planet.
I am trying to catch traffic from the long and short versions of the keyword search in an attempt to gaining relevancy for anything cool.
