What coolest guy on the planet is not about.

This is a little note to those of you who might be curious about what this blog is. It is not so that James Schramko can think he is the coolest guy on the planet.

This experiment is all about Search Engine Behaviour

• More than 70% of browsers use a search engine to find things.
• Search engine rankings will become increasingly important to any business who plans to be online.
• More businesses are going online because more consumers are going online.
• Online knowledge is an increasingly valuable asset.
• I want to increase my knowledge

The only reason I am using this search term ( coolest guy on the planet) is because it is highly competitive amongst Search Engine Specialists, and this is evident in the 17,100,000 results that show when you search for the term Coolest guy on the planet.

I am actually surprised to have reached 11th out of 17,100,000 results.

The knowledge I have gained from this experiment has been applied to other websites for Real Products and services to increase search engine rankings. This has resulted in more click throughs, more enquiries , more sales, more profit.

More Profit is ultimately what this experiment was about. And it has paid well.

Cool or not Cool - it is not important. Optimization is the only cool thing here.

My local yahoo (yahoo7) has me ranked at number 2 for Coolest Guy On The Planet so it seems to favour local hosts perhaps.






















The local MSN search findings are similar to the yahoo one. Coolest guy on the planet reveals me at third place.
