SEO versus Traffic Jam - (post 61)
Why? - I lost my focus on SEO and got caught in a traffic jam.
Coolest guy on the planet had great keyword density and on page strategies going, then I got carried away with driving traffic to the site. Sure I have had coolest guy on the planet getting Alexa results, however that was not the goal when I started. This happens in Internet Marketing. I should be using SEO to drive targetted traffic, not just getting all the traffic I can.
Focus required to get Coolest guy on the planet back up.
(Yahoo - 31st for coolest guy on the planet)
MSN still likes me - Ranked 9th for coolest guy on the planet. NineMSN (An Australian thing) Loves me at number One.
Action list:
- Re-read my prior successes and repeat them
- focus my index page to just keywords without RSS feeds
- put the blog back to coolest guy on the planet topics
I will also add a Coolest guy on the planet focused random html generator splash page to see what results I get.
p.s - Coolest guy on the planet is getting crawled a lot more by spiders since i used Submit equalizer, although my inbox is full of junk... U
